Edgar M. Williams
Edgar M. Williams is a member of QSecure's technology advisory board and is an active consultant with the company. He has 41 years of experience in magnetic recording and in xerographic technologies, of which 19 years were with IBM Corporation in San Jose where he developed recording materials, media, heads, and laser printers. In 1983 he co-founded Gemini Magnetics, Inc. and developed thin film recording media, and in 1985 he joined ReadRite as Director of Technology where he established thin film head design and applications engineering activities for the corporation. He was promoted to Vice President in 1989, appointed to Chief Technical Officer in 1993 and became ReadRite's first Fellow in 1997. He has published the books Design and Analysis of Magnetoresistive Recording Heads and The Physics and Technology of Xerographic Processes, as well as papers, monographs and book chapters, and has taught over the many years in his profession. He holds four U. S. patents in recording heads.
Mr. Williams has degrees in electrical engineering and in physics, is a Fellow of the IEEE, a member of the American Physical Society, was an adjunct faculty member of the I.I.S.T. at Santa Clara University, and is a past Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics.
Sebastien Taveau
Sebastien Taveau's technical and professional experience spans more than 19 years in various industries involving embedded solutions, software and security. His deep knowledge of the wireless and payment industries helped him identify the upcoming need for new systems to meet the growing electronic transaction demands. The current state of transition both in technology and security standard has positioned his company Fluctuat LLC services in a high-demand niche market.
Prior to Fluctuat LLC, Mr. Taveau held senior management positions for start-ups and Fortune companies such as Cardsoft, Ridgerun (a Texas Instruments venture), Motorola SPS (now Freescale) and others. His skills in marketing, sales and technology were acquired through experience and bolstered by a postgraduate degree from the University of Paris 1 – Pantheon Sorbonne and a M.S. in business strategy from the University of Tours in France.
Tom Arthur
Tom Arthur has over 20 years of management, sales and marketing expertise in the networking, security and card system markets. Tom previously held the President and CEO roles at Arbor Networks and ActivCard, and was instrumental in taking ActivCard public on the NASDAQ in 2000. Prior to ActivCard, Tom held senior management positions at Novell and Excelan.
Mr. Arthur received his B.S. from the UC Davis in 1984.
