Jean-Louis Gassée

Jean-Louis Gassée joined Allegis Capital as a partner in April 2003. Prior to this, he headed up Be, Inc., which developed the Be operating system (Be OS) to provide multimedia software for appliances to deliver information, entertainment and interactivity over the Web. Mr. Gassée spent nine years at Apple Computer. In February 1981, he started Apple's French subsidiary and, in 1982, was also named President of the "Apple Education" Foundation. In 1985, Mr. Gassée was transferred to Apple headquarters to lead Apple's product development. He has also held general management positions at Exxon, Data General and Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Gassée has served as a director of publicly traded companies such as Cray Computer Corporation, 3Com and Logitech. He currently sits on the Board of Directors' of Electronics for Imaging and was until late 2005 Chairman of PalmSource. He is a mathematics and physics graduate of Paris (Orsay) University in France.

Peter Goettner

Peter Goettner is a General Partner at Worldview Technology Partners, a venture capital firm in Palo Alto, CA. He has 15+ years of operational experience, including nearly a decade at the senior management level. Prior to Worldview, Mr. Goettner was the Co-Founder and CEO of DigitalThink, an e-learning company that pioneered the on-demand delivery of enterprise software. DigitalThink completed a very successful public offering in 2000 and was subsequently acquired by Convergys in 2004. Before founding DigitalThink, Mr. Goettner ran the marketing and business development groups at Knowledge Revolution (acquired by MSC Software) and Silicon Microstructures. Previously, he was a consultant in Accenture's supply chain management group. Mr. Goettner earned an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.

Frank Lee

Frank Lee is an Investment Director at UMC Capital where he focuses on making investments in the semiconductors, communications and wireless industries. Prior to UMC Capital, Mr. Lee was a Vice President at Vertex Management Inc, a Singapore-based venture firm. At Vertex, Mr. Lee was responsible for investments in Transmedia (Cisco), Teralogic (Zoran), Endwave (NASD: ENWV), Metrika (Bayer) and Ubicom. Previously, he was a management consultant at AT Kearney. Mr. Lee earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from San Jose Sate University.

Richard Hababou

Richard Hababou is Managing Director of the Société Générale Corporate Venture practice in San Francisco since May of 2001, where he is responsible for overseeing investment and partnership strategy with a specific focus on analyzing the potential partnership and investment opportunities from a strategic, technological and financial standpoint. Mr. Hababou holds a board observer position for Société Générale at QSecure.

Mr. Hababou has been with Société Générale since 1987. Before being assigned to Corporate Venture, he was the head of new technology in the Retail Banking division. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hababou was the Deputy Director of the organization IT department in its Specialized Financing division and head of IT operation department in its Human Resources division.

Prior to joining Société Générale, Mr. Hababou worked for a French investment bank as Network Infrastructure Manager in its IT department.
