Mike Cummings has moved into the position of President and CEO of Qsecure and joined our Board of Directors. Prior to this, Mike served as Vice President of Engineering at Qsecure, overseeing all product development activities. Mike began his career more than 20 years ago designing novel solutions in the scientific instruments market sector at Varian, issuing three patents in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. From there he joined Digidesign to lead software development for the Pro Tools audio workstation and managed the program that brought Pro Tools to Windows NT. In 1998, he became Vice President of the larger engineering organization, responsible for the entire software line as well as Digidesign's array of high-end mixing and signal processing equipment where he led a multi-disciplinary team of over 150 members. Mr. Cummings studied at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1986 with a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering. He then entered graduate school at Stanford, completing his studies in 1988 with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Daniel Chatelain started his career more than twenty years ago as a pioneer of the Minitel, focusing on banking, telecommunication and media services. He is a serial entrepreneur and has launched several technology ventures within the EADS Group (Airbus, Ariane Espace, Eurocopter) and the Lagardere Group (Elle, Woman's Day, Car & Driver, Hachette, Canal Satellite).
Mr. Chatelain graduated in 1982 from the University of France with master's degrees in physics and mathematics, and a specialty in semiconductors. He is on the advisory boards of several start-ups in the Silicon Valley and Europe. He is also a founder of BayPay, a Silicon Valley networking group specializing in payments.

Jeffrey Hatch brings to QSecure nearly 20 years of software engineering experience in large scale, transaction processing and computer systems. He has extensive experience in the banking and card payment and transaction industry as well as in-depth knowledge and expertise in large scale, high volume, database systems and applications development and design. Most recently Mr. Hatch was Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President at Planet Payment, a processor of bank card transactions. In addition Mr. Hatch was a co-Founder and Vice President Engineering of EBalance, providing web based financial management application services.
Mr. Hatch holds an M.S. in Engineering and a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and is on the advisory board of Innovius.

Gary Daniel began his professional career more than 30 years ago developing signal processing circuitry for military flight simulation systems for CAE Link. He has since held a number of technical lead and management roles at Intel, Interactive Network, Oak Technology, Silicon Magic, and S3 accumulating invaluable knowledge and experience in driving innovative solutions in product development. Most recently, Mr. Daniel was a Senior Director and Acting Vice President of Engineering at Digidesign, a division of Avid, the leading provider of audio editing and mixing tools for the entertainment industry where he was responsible for the launching a long list of products.
Mr. Daniel holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Santa Clara.
